Devised Theatre Project holds space for young people to connect, create, and collectively build theatre.
We offer classes and performance opportunities that foster community, collaboration, and the exploration of various theatre-devising techniques through games and activities.
Our Pilot program launched in March of 2017 at CAMBA Flagstone Family Center in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn.
We now offer theatre programming at CAMBA Flagstone Family Center in addition to pop-up classes in many other Brooklyn-based community spaces.
In response to the 2020 COVID-19 crisis, and the impossibility of in-person classes at this time, we began development of an online course, which will be offered to young people beginning August 2020.
